A logo design I did a little while back.

Original Haute is Up!

For the past month and a half, I’ve been putting effort towards my new affiliate network, Original Haute. The basic principle behind the site is connecting fashion start-ups with the recent growth of both fashion blogs and affiliate marketers.

Fashion lines have been popping up like wildflowers in the past few years and I don’t predict any decline in fashion start-ups, not with the power of the internet feeding it like steroids. Original Haute allows the hundreds and thousands fashion bloggers that already post articles of themselves, posing in underground designer wear, to become part of the equation.

Probably the best part about this is that everyone who uses it benefits from it:

– The fashion line will have increased exposure and thus, more sales and promotion of their brand.
– Bloggers can become successful affiliate marketers just by signing up and finding the fashion lines they’ve been writing about.
– Current fashion affiliates will have more variety to outfit their landing pages with.
– As Original Haute grows, the variety does along with it.

I’m really excited to see the network does over the course of this year. Go check it out and tell me what you think! Making sure the user experience is awesome is my top priority.

Where’s Jobs?

Here’s a site that had me on the floor when my brother Ian first came up with the idea. I decided to actually sketch up a post and it had everyone who saw cracking up so I decided to follow through with the site. Check out that first post here.

I’m currently in the middle of redesigning the site now, so stay on the look out!

GamerMoves

During the summer of 2010 I decided to make start a gaming news and reviews site, so purchased the domain GamerMoves.com. I designed and coded the theme myself and ran the site until early september, at which point I sold the site on Flippa.

Home Game Channel

I entered this one into a contest. The company wanted a boxy feeling logo using green as the primary color.

Fitness Trainer Logo

My first design was a logo for a personal fitness coach’s blog. He wanted the logo to incorporate his “4 pillars of fitness” idea and struggle for success, so I made a woman running up four large pillars.
